About the role
Join PwC’s Actuarial Services team as a Trainee Actuary in the 2026 intake. You will work alongside experienced actuaries to provide advice and consulting services to clients across insurance, banking, public and corporate sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse the impact of new regulations on insurers’ balance sheets.
- Support solvency assessments, economic capital calculations and risk‑management projects.
- Assist with financial modelling, stress and scenario testing, and underwriting analysis.
- Contribute to mergers and acquisitions, company restructuring and de‑risking initiatives.
- Help clients implement new financial and actuarial reporting requirements.
- Provide insights on ESG considerations, new legislation and the efficiency of claims or reporting processes.
Required profile
- Graduated with 120 UCAS points or 32 IB points, including Mathematics.
- Strong analytical mindset and interest in insurance, finance or risk management.
- Willingness to develop technical and professional skills through PwC’s graduate training programme.
