About the role
This 12‑month fixed‑term position is based in Douglas, Isle of Man and focuses on reviewing and signing off new personal account applications for Standard Bank Offshore. The role ensures compliance with regulatory and internal standards while delivering a positive client experience.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct onboarding reviews of all new personal account applications within agreed timeframes.
- Validate source of funds and obtain necessary compliance approvals before account opening.
- Perform internet and Accuity/Finscan searches to identify adverse media, PEP connections, and sanctions.
- Prepare account opening packs for compliance/director sign‑off and verify tax classification.
Required profile
- Minimum secondary education; Higher Certificate in Business Commerce preferred.
- 3‑4 years experience in offshore operations and corporate onboarding.
- Residency and right to work in the Isle of Man.
Required skills
- Experience with Accuity and Finscan search tools.
- Knowledge of client risk management and compliance guidelines.
- Ability to review and validate source‑of‑funds documentation.
