Money Laundering Reporting Officer

About the role

The Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) will oversee AML/CFT compliance for Standard Bank Isle of Man, SBSA Isle of Man Branch and Standard Finance Limited, handling internal SARs and liaising with regulators.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to information requests from IOM FIU, IOM FSA and IOM AGC.
• Communicate and coordinate with external auditors, regulators and law enforcement on AML/CFT matters.
• Represent the Relevant Persons in MLRO industry forums and associations in the Isle of Man.
• Implement and maintain governance structures to meet regulatory requirements.
• Advise on data collection, maintenance and reporting to support business decisions.
• Provide training, awareness initiatives and expert guidance to internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• First degree in Risk Management or a related field.
• 5‑7 years experience in regulatory services or compliance.
• Deep expertise in AML/CFT regulations and ability to influence across multiple countries.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
