Test Analyst (Fixed Term Contract)

About the role

Nedbank Private Wealth, a private bank and wealth manager based in the Isle of Man, is hiring several Testers for its Technology team on a fixed-term contract. The successful candidate works with Software Engineers, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Product Owners and business stakeholders to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle, focusing on automated testing, quality engineering standards and the delivery of technology and transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites across multiple applications and platforms
• Create and run automated test cases covering functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing
• Identify, analyse and troubleshoot defects with engineering teams
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Maintain test data, testing environments and automation assets, and monitor test results and coverage
• Support performance, resilience and reliability testing where appropriate
• Guide colleagues on test automation tools, techniques and quality engineering practices

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Test Automation Engineer, Quality Engineer or Software Test Engineer
• Experience designing and maintaining automated testing frameworks
• Experience with modern automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress or SpecFlow, and API testing tools
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based applications; Microsoft/Azure experience is advantageous
• Experience in banking, wealth management or regulated environments is advantageous but not essential
