Data Remediation Officer (Fixed Term Contract)

About the role

Standard Bank Offshore, the offshore arm of the Standard Bank Group, is hiring a Data Remediation Officer on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role is based in the Isle of Man and is not open to relocation; only candidates with residency and the right to work in the Isle of Man will be considered. It aims to improve data integrity, ensure compliance with AML and KYC regulations and maintain a single view of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Remediate client data to drive data integrity and adherence to AML and KYC regulatory requirements.
• Accurately verify and update all relevant mandatory data fields.
• Close accounts and/or restrict client profiles against relevant rules.
• Identify and raise trends for non-adherence to AML across all profiles.
• Reverse service fees to the relevant revenue account.
• Adhere to AML and bank regulation, processes and policies.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification: secondary/high school/A levels.
• Experience in an operations environment understanding policies and procedures.
• Residency and right to work in the Isle of Man; the role is not open to relocation.

Required skills

• Knowledge of banking processes and procedures.
• Client servicing and compliance awareness.
• Understanding of product and services knowledge and risk awareness.
