CDD Analyst (Account Servicing) - Banking Operations

About the role

Nedbank Private Wealth, a private bank and wealth manager headquartered in the Isle of Man, is looking for a CDD Analyst (Account Servicing) to join its Banking Operations team on a permanent basis. The role suits someone with proven client due diligence administration experience, particularly in Corporate and Trust CDD.

The team covers personal and corporate application reviews, account opening, account maintenance, trigger events, data integrity and anti-money laundering regulations, with a focus on high-quality client service to internal and external clients.

Key responsibilities

• Review new business applications for corporate and personal clients
• Assess account changes for existing clients, such as address or director changes
• Check KYC, CDD and sanctions using third-party systems
• Identify and escalate unusual or suspicious activity to senior management or the MLRO
• Work with internal stakeholders to obtain the right information and documentation
• Handle administrative tasks in a back office team and take ownership of expediting solutions
• Meet agreed timescales and take responsibility for own continuous development

Required profile

• Sound understanding of Personal and Corporate AML, CDD and EDD requirements for account onboarding and ongoing client changes
• Experience in Corporate and Trust CDD
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines with accuracy and manage time effectively
• Good interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
