Health Care Assistant – Residential Care Home

About the role

Crovan Court Nursing & Residential Care Home is seeking Health Care Assistants to provide high-quality care to service users in line with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Work as part of a care team, promoting and safeguarding the welfare of service users.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, nutrition and domestic tasks in accordance with care plans and best practice.
• Monitor and report changes in physical or mental health, participate in audits and care plan reviews.
• Liaise with other agencies, respect users’ rights and choices, and maintain infection prevention and control standards.

Required profile

• Caring, kind, cheerful and friendly with a flexible, reliable and adaptable attitude.
• Good team player with integrity, able to follow instructions and use initiative.

Required skills

• Good observational, organisational, literacy and numeracy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to undertake RQF Level 2 in Health and Social Care or complete the Care Certificate.
