Finance Business Partner - Gaming

About the role

Bullfinch Recruitment is recruiting a Finance Business Partner for a rapidly growing global business expanding its presence in the US market. The role ensures that user growth is grounded in sustainable unit economics, analyzing the efficiency of marketing spend while keeping a close eye on the company's P&L, OpEx and runway.

Key responsibilities

• Performance marketing and growth analysis: model LTV and CPA, monitor daily and weekly ROAS and payback windows, and run cohort analysis of retention and monetization with Data Science
• Financial planning and analysis: lead annual budgeting with external accountants and monthly rolling forecasts, manage cash flow and burn, and monitor departmental OpEx such as headcount, software and R&D
• Strategic decision support: evaluate how game economy changes affect financial performance and retention, and flag risks such as softening LTV or rising UA costs to the leadership team

Required profile

• 5+ years in finance, including at least 2 years in gaming, SaaS or e-commerce
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related quantitative field

Required skills

• Expert-level Excel/Google Sheets
• SQL or BI tools such as Looker or Tableau is a major plus
• Deep understanding of ARPDAU, day-N retention and churn
