People and Culture Business Partner

About the role

Standard Bank Offshore, the offshore arm of the Standard Bank Group, is looking for a People and Culture Business Partner. The role works independently and provides end-to-end People and Culture (P&C) support for its portfolio(s), advising business stakeholders on P&C guidance that supports the overall people experience and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Act as custodian of COE business systems, identify issues with their use and promote efficient use across the portfolio
• Advise on the P&C risk and governance framework so risks are properly mitigated
• Follow P&C data policies in line with Standard Bank Group data standards
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams on workforce planning and cost accuracy
• Support organisational design and change management initiatives within the portfolio

Required profile

• First degree in Human Resources
• 5 to 7 years of experience in People and Culture
• Track record of implementing effective, lasting P&C solutions that drive business performance
• Experience in a multinational company working with senior management teams

Required skills

• Knowledge of P&C management's role in business commercial and social relevance
• Application of best-in-class P&C impact measures
• Behavioural competencies: decision making, digital advocacy, inclusive facilitation, integrative leadership, storytelling
