Band 6 Registered Children's Nurse – Temporary Agency Role in Isle of Man

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Band 6 Registered Children’s Nurse to join a dedicated paediatric team on the Isle of Man for a temporary agency placement. The role offers up to 37.5 hours per week, working alongside consultants and multidisciplinary staff to provide high‑quality care for infants, children and young people.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to children and young patients, from admission to discharge.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individual care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Collaborate closely with paediatric consultants and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain precise patient records and clinical documentation.
• Promote safeguarding and support families throughout the hospital journey.

Required profile

• Current NMC registration as a Registered Children’s Nurse (RN Child/RSCN).
• Recent UK experience in a children’s or paediatric nursing role, preferably within the NHS.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Strong communication and clinical decision‑making abilities.
